Opening your eyes to what's there & important, using archives and maps, conducting the survey, producing the report and how it can be used.
Simple identification of images, analysing what they contain, making an information grid, creating a record, storing the photographs etc. Uploading to You Tube or Flickr - the pros and cons.
Using information such as Heritage Audit material, maps, oral history, digital photography to produce a trail or walk.
Recording family history memories is often personal and private and is done not just family history but also as a family legacy. The approach taught in this workshop implies sensitivity, empathy and patience.
